Acan Group is currently seeking a Common Area Cleaner to join our team in Melbourne CBD.

n

We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, well presented environments and enjoys working in a qualified hospitality setting. This role involves servicing a high-end hotel and ensuring all public areas are maintained to an exceptional standard for guests and visitors.

n

The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented and committed to delivering consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role n

This is a Part time/ Casual position, working 7.5 hours per day. You will be responsible for maintaining hotel public areas to a consistently high standard and ensuring guests experience a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times.

Multiple shifts are available: n

- Morning shift
n
- Afternoon shift
n
- Night shift
n

n

Applicants must be available to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, lifts and public restrooms
n
- Vacuum, mop, dust and polish floors and surfaces
n
- Clean glass, mirrors and frequently touched areas
n
- Empty bins and manage waste appropriately
n
- Replenish consumables, including hand towels, soap and sanitiser
n




- Complete scheduled detail-cleaning tasks
n
- Report maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns promptly
n
- Follow hotel procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
n

- Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties

- Available to work 8-hour shifts Part time/ Full time

- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
n
- Hotel or hospitality cleaning experience is highly regarded
