AQCare is seeking experienced and committed Disability Support Workers to join our team. We are particularly interested in candidates looking for permanent employment and consistent, ongoing hours.

n

We offer opportunities to work across our supported accommodations services, with a range of day, weekend and sleepover shifts available.

The role n

As a Disability Support Worker with AQCare, you will provide consistent day-to-day support tailored to the needs and goals of the people you work with.

n

- Personal care and daily living support
n
- Medication assistance
n
- Supporting community access and participation
n
- Building independence and everyday life skills
n
- Following individual support and behaviour support plans
n
- Completing clear, accurate shift notes and documentation
n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and other members of the support team
n

What we're looking for n

You will be a good fit if you are dependable, adaptable and genuinely committed to providing high-quality support.

n

Successful applicants will:

n

n
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
n
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Yellow Card,



or be in the process of obtaining one
n
- Hold a current Australian Driver Licence and be willing to transport participants when required
n
- Hold current First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain it
n
- Communicate confidently and professionally with participants and colleagues
n
- Be able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
n
- Have strong documentation and record-keeping skills
n
- Be comfortable following individual support plans, procedures and behaviour support strategies
n

Our services operate around the clock, so applicants must be able to work across a roster that includes weekday, evening and overnight shifts.

n

Applicants must have working rights in Australia that allow them to meet the ongoing hours and roster requirements of the position.

n

These positions are base in the Mount Gravatt East and Cannon Hill areas . Applicants should consider their ability to reliably travel to these locations when applying.

n

Previous disability support experience is highly regarded.
