We're partnering with a leading consulting organisation to engage an experienced Context Engineer for a major banking program. This is a hands-on opportunity for a strong data engineering professional who enjoys building scalable cloud data solutions and working on complex enterprise platforms.n
About the Role n
nYou'll design, build and support enterprise data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments, delivering batch and near real-time pipelines, data integration, modelling, governance and performance optimisation. n
Key Responsibilities n
n

n
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
n
- Build ETL/ELT processes using modern cloud technologies.
n
- Develop and maintain data models, mappings and documentation.
n
- Implement data quality, governance and security controls.
n
- Optimise SQL, cloud platforms and data warehouse performance.
n
- Troubleshoot production issues and support critical data services.
n
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
n
- Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices.
n

Skills & Experience n
n

n
- Strong experience in Data Engineering, Solution Design or Data Warehousing.
n




- Advanced SQL and data transformation expertise.
n
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python, Spark, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
n
- Experience across Azure, AWS and/or GCP environments.
n
- Robust understanding of data modelling, governance and data quality.
n
- Experience with enterprise databases and cloud data platforms.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n

Highly regarded: n
n

n
- Apache Flink, Redis or real-time streaming technologies.
n
- Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server.
n
- Banking, risk, fraud, AML/KYC or other regulated industry experience.
n
