Allrounder Storeperson - Permanent - Successful Family Business

We are seeking an Allrounder Storeperson (with a Fork licence!) to join one of Melbourne's most successful suppliers to the construction industry. Founded in 1994, this company is now the leading supplier of cabinerty and stone bench tops in Australia.

As an Allrounder Storeperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver quality service to our customers and support the continued growth of our family-owned business.

This is a Casual role that will lead to permanency - 7:30am start to 3:30pm

Key responsibilities

Receiving, checking and processing incoming stock and deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met

Organising and storing goods in designated warehouse areas

Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements and delivery schedules

Operating Forklifts to unload stock, put away and dispatch





Conducting regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate records

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse setting in compliance with health and safety regulations

Assisting with general warehouse duties and supporting team members as required

Identifying and reporting any discrepancies, damage or quality issues to management

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a storeperson, warehouse operative or similar role within the warehousing, storage and distribution industry

Experience operating a counterbalance Forklift

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling duties regularly (not heavy)

Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in warehouse environments

Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining consistent work standards

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems (preferred)
