An established, Canberra based accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Accountant or Supervisor to join their growing team. Working directly with Partners and senior advisors, you will be able to move beyond straightforward preparation of tax returns to become a genuine adviser to clients while building a rewarding long-term career. The firm's clients are predominantly high net wealth individuals, family groups and privately owned businesses who value trusted advice, strong relationships and long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities n

- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and compliance obligations
n
- Develop skills to deliver tax planning, business advisory and strategic advice
n
- Develop strong and lasting client relationships
n
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and business performance
n
- Mentor and support junior team members
n
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the firm
n
About you nn
- CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
n
- 3+ years' public practice experience
n
- Demonstrated technical taxation and business advisory skills
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
n
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
- Ambition to continue developing professionally and take on leadership responsibilities
