Job Description

RV World Canberra is expanding and we're looking for an experienced Mechanic or Automotive Technician to join our workshop team.

If you're tired of flat-rate pressure, repetitive servicing and weekend work, this role offers something different — varied work, steady hours and a great team workplace.

No caravan experience required — we'll train you in the RV side of the industry.

Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

No weekends, no call-outs

Public holidays closed

What You'll Be Doing n

Using your mechanical skills to diagnose, repair and service caravans and motorhomes, including:

n

- Mechanical component repairs and installations
n
- Suspension, braking systems and running gear
n
- Fault-finding across electrical, gas, water and appliance systems
n
- Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new caravans
n
- Installing accessories such as solar, batteries, inverters and upgrades
n
- Working from clear job cards in a clean, organised workshop
n

You'll start with work aligned to your trade and can expand your skills into other areas of the RV industry if you want.

We're keen to hear from: n

n
- Diesel mechanics or trailer technicians
n
- Mechanics looking for a lifestyle change from dealerships
n
- Trade certificate qualification is an advantage.
n

Caravan experience is not required — strong trade skills and a good work ethic are what matter most.

n

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
