We're looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Cairns Workshop. This is a full time, permanent chance working Monday to Friday, with flexibility around hours and the opportunity to take ownership of your own workspace and workflow.

Your day to day duties will include: nn
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
n
- Maintaining compliance and workshop safety standards
n
- Supporting and mentoring a Trade Assistant
n
- Working closely with drivers and operational teams
n
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
n

What You'll Bring nn
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
- Experience working on heavy vehicles or diesel equipment
n
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage your workloadCommitment to safety, quality and attention to detail
n
- A team first attitude and pride in your workmanship
