About the role n

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Assembler to join our growing team in Brisbane(Wacol).

n

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics, electronics and mapping technology. You’ll play an important role in bringing Emesent’s products to life, supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting and production of our world-class technology.

n

This role will suit someone with experience in a quality-driven production environment who has a keen interest in technology, innovation and practical problem-solving.

How you’ll contribute n

You’ll be responsible for:

n

n
- Assembling electronic and mechanical modules into subsystems and finished products.
n
- Performing production tasks safely, accurately and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality.
n
- Following detailed work instructions, procedures and production documentation.
n
- Participating in quality assurance processes and helping maintain consistently high standards.
n
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnosing product issues.
n
- Supporting PCB and product repair activities.
n
- Monitoring and adjusting production processes or equipment to improve quality and productivity.
n
- Completing production documentation, including SOPs, manufacturing batch records, inventory and productivity reports.
n
- Supporting stock management and procurement activities.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve production processes and contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
n

What you’ll bring n

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with your hands,



has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

n

n
- 1+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing or assembly environment.
n
- Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly using written procedures.
n
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, prints and schematics.
n
- Practical electronics knowledge, including circuit fault finding and troubleshooting.
n
- Experience using electronic test equipment.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
n
- The ability to follow detailed test plans and prepare clear, useful test reports.
n
- Confidence using computer-based instructions, documentation, data recording and QA procedures.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Advanced soldering and mechanical assembly skills (desirable).
