We are currently seeking professional, customer-focused Loss Prevention Officers to join our retail security team across Melbourne.

This is not a gatehouse, patrol or static guarding position.
n
We are looking for officers who are confident engaging with customers, comfortable working in busy retail environments, and capable of maintaining a strong security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Be Doing n
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be positioned at the front of store and throughout retail environments to help reduce theft, support store teams and create a safe shopping experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and acknowledging customers
n
- Conducting bag checks in accordance with store policies
n
- Maintaining a highly visible security presence
n
- Identifying and reporting suspicious behaviour
n
- Supporting store management with theft prevention strategies
n
- Responding to incidents professionally and calmly
n
- Writing accurate incident reports
n
- Building positive relationships with customers and staff
n
- Protecting store assets while delivering outstanding customer service
n

What We're Looking For n

- To be successful, you will:

- Hold a current VIC Security Licence
n
- Be confident speaking with customers and store staff

- Present professionally at all times

- Have solid observation and situational awareness skills

- Be reliable and able to work independently

- Be available for retail operating hours, including weekends and public holidays

- Have full working rights in Australia

- Be committed to delivering both security and customer service excellence
