Job Description

This role is suited to candidates who are
n confident supporting people with disability in a respectful, person -centred,
n trauma -informed, and rights -based way. The role may involve personal care,
n daily living support, community access, household routines, supported
n independent living support, and assistance that promotes participant dignity,
n independence, safety, and inclusion.

Minimum Requirements:
n
n
n
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in disability
n support, aged care, mental health support, personal care, or a similar
n care setting.
n
n
- Good English communication skills.
n
n
- Strong interpersonal, verbal,
and written communication skills.
n
n
- Respectful, empathetic, and person -centred approach.
n
n
- Ability to build rapport with participants, families, and care
n teams.
n
n
- Ability to follow participant support plans, workplace
n policies, and escalation procedures.
n
n
- High level of accountability, punctuality, and professionalism.
n
n
- Solution -focused mindset and ability to work under pressure.
n
n
- Valid Australian Driver Licence.
n
n
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
n
n
- Smartphone for communication, rostering, and support logging.
n
n
- Willingness to work across rotating shifts, including weekends,
n sleepovers, active overnight shifts, and overtime where required.
n
