Company Overview

BLACKROC is partnering with a Queensland Government agency to recruit a Test Analyst.

Role Purpose

You’ll join a delivery team responsible for enhancing and stabilising a business-critical compliance platform built on Appian. Testing demand is growing, so you’ll make sure every change is defect-free and ready for production. You’ll also help shape the testing practices and governance used across the wider ICT workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to comprehensive test strategies aligned with business and technical expectations and timelines
- Coordinate, manage and perform manual and automated testing, including:
- Functional and non-functional
- System and integration
- Regression and UAT
- Develop comprehensive test cases using both manual and automated methods
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers and business analysts to resolve issues and integrate testing into delivery
- Work within and contribute to automated testing frameworks, driving continuous improvement and best practice
- Help develop systems,



practices and processes that lift testing governance

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional test development experience, including contributing to test governance practices and processes
- Senior-level experience across regression, system, integration and UAT
- Proven ability to build comprehensive manual and automated test cases
- Significant senior-level testing experience on a tier 1 workflow platform such as Appian
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Xray

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Qualifications in test management (e.g. ISTQB) or equivalent
- Experience testing case management or regulatory systems
- Previous Queensland Government experience
