As part of the expansion of the acclaimed a’Mare dining experience, we are seeking passionate and professional Section Waiters to join both a’Mare and the newly opening Vista’Mare at Crown Sydney.

n

Working within a premium dining setting, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences while showcasing genuine hospitality, product knowledge, and attention to detail.

About the Role n

As a Section Waiter, you will be responsible for managing your own section, building guest relationships, and delivering seamless service from arrival through to departure.

n

We are currently recruiting for both casual and full-time positions .

Full-Time Salary n

$79,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Casual Employment n

Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA) rates apply, including applicable penalty rates and public holiday loadings.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Deliver exceptional table service in a fine dining environment
n
- Manage a dedicated section during service
n
- Present menus and provide detailed food and beverage recommendations
n
- Maintain a strong understanding of Italian cuisine, wine, and beverage offerings
n
- Utilise SevenRooms (7R) guest notes and reservation information to personalise service
n
- Work collaboratively with sommeliers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen teams
n
- Maintain venue presentation and service standards throughout service
n
- Assist with table resetting and preparation between bookings
n




- Build genuine rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- 1–3 years’ experience in a premium restaurant or fine dining environment
n
- Hospitality Diploma or equivalent qualification highly regarded
n
- Experience using SevenRooms (7R) or similar reservations platforms
n
- Fluent spoken and written English
n
- Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge
n
- Exceptional grooming and presentation standards
n
- Professional communication and guest engagement skills
n
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Ability to successfully complete Crown Sydney Police and Compliance Checks
n
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
n

Desirable nn
- Italian language skills
n
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and regional wines
n
- Previous experience within premium or hatted restaurants
n
