Young Eastern Suburbs family seeking an experienced nanny for our two young boys

We are young parents based in Bellevue Hill, Sydney , with two beautiful boys, one aged 2 and our newest addition, who is a newborn.

n

We are looking for an experienced nanny to become an important part of our family and support us as we navigate this busy and exciting stage of life with young children.

n

For now, the role will primarily focus on our 2-year-old. He is an incredibly funny, empathetic, confident and adventurous little boy. He loves building blocks, kicking balls, going to the park and beach, and most of all, running! He is a true pleasure to be around and will have you laughing a lot.

We would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being with children and can create days that are fun, engaging and full of learning and adventure.

As our newborn gets older, the role will naturally evolve to involve caring for both boys.

The role n

The position is for 3 fixed days per week, with regular opportunities for additional hours when required.

n

Our preferred days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-5pm, with occasional weekday evenings and weekends.

n

However, finding the right person is most important to us, so we are happy to work around days and hours to suit the right candidate.

n

No driving is required at this stage, with plenty of parks, activities and outings available locally.

n

$45 per hour | $1,080 per week guaranteed based on 3 days, with regular opportunities for additional paid hours.

n

There is also the prospect to grow the role and add more regular hours over time.

n

This is first and foremost a nanny role. Your main responsibility is simple: to make sure our children are safe, learning, having fun and feel like they are spending their day with someone who is part of their family.

Day to day, this will include:

Creating fun days filled with play, learning, activities and outings

n

Supporting our 2-year-old's routines and development

n

Preparing his meals and snacks and keeping his things organised

n

Helping with our newborn as the role naturally develops

About you n

We are open to different backgrounds. You may be an experienced nanny, have worked in childcare or early childhood education, or be an experienced mother who has raised children of your own.

More than anything, we are looking for someone who:

n

Genuinely loves being around children

n

Is fun, playful, warm and nurturing

n

Has lots of experience caring for young children

n

Is reliable, proactive and confident taking initiative

n

Is looking for a genuinely long-term role, ideally for at least 2 years and hopefully much longer

n

Professional nanny or childcare experience is highly valued, but it isn't the only kind of experience we value. We would equally love to hear from experienced mothers who have spent years raising children of their own and feel they would be a great fit for our family.

For professional candidates, a current Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR and references are highly regarded. For experienced mothers returning to work or moving into nannying, we are happy to discuss these requirements and help the right person obtain anything needed.
