Clinical Midwife (CM CORE) Thursday Island Hospitaln
Dates: 2/8/26 to 4/10/26n
nSeeking an experienced Clinical Midwife for a locum placement in a remote maternity service.n
Requirements: n
n

n
- Minimum 3 years midwifery experience
n
- ALS, FSEP, CTG competency
n
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
n
- MEP Advanced (or equivalent)
n
- Recent birthing suite experience
n
- Highly desirable: epidural competent
n

Role includes: n
n

n
- Full scope maternity care (antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal)
n
- Emergency obstetric/neonatal response in remote setting
n
- Senior clinician contribution to audit and portfolio activities
n

Confident, autonomous midwife required for a high-responsibility remote hospital workplace.n
