We have exciting opportunity for Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team at LORDS OSHCon acasual basis.

The position n

n
- As a Casual Educator, you will play an active role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to learn through play. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators to deliver high‑quality care that supports children and their families.
n
- Actively engage and supervise children in a range of activities—both indoor and outdoor that stimulate learning and promote wellbeing.
n
- Create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and develop new skills.
n
- Deliver programs that are tailored to the varying ages, interests, and abilities of the children in care, in line with the ‘My Time Our Place: Framework for OSHC’and the National Quality Framework.
n
- Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
n
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
n
- Engage positively with children during before schooling, after school, and vacation care sessions
n
- Contribute to a supportive and professional team workplace
n
- Help keep our space sparkling and safe by pitching in with light cleaning tasks.
n

About You n

n
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or actively working towards one.
n




- Have a genuine passion for working with school‑aged children
n
- Are reliable, flexible, and a positive team player
n
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.
n
- A current Blue Card
n
- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
n
- Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)
n
- Experience in an OSHC or similar setting would be preferred however, all applicants would be considered.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
n
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
n
- Willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.
n
- Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential).
n
