About the Role n
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and distribution workplace.
n
You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard, and assisting with general storeperson duties to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks
n
- Move and organise stock throughout the warehouse and yard
n
- Load and unload deliveries
n
- Assist with stock control and general warehouse duties
n
- Pick, pack and prepare orders when required
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Work effectively as part of a team
n
What We’re Looking For nn
- Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF)
n
- Previous forklift and warehouse experience
n
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts highly regarded
n
- Strong safety awareness
n
- Good reliability and attendance
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good communication and a positive attitude
n
- Previous storeperson or distribution experience is advantageous
n
