About the Company

Leviat is a global leader in lifting, insulating, and connecting technology for the construction industry. We provide innovative, high-quality engineering solutions that shape the built environment. In our fast-paced manufacturing facility in NSW, we focus on safe, productive, and high-volume production. We are looking for an energetic, hands-on Production Planner to drive our scheduling and keep our operations moving smoothly.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Production Manager NSW, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time delivery. This is a highly visible, dynamic role on the shop floor. You will balance customer demand, site capacity, and material availability to minimise downtime and optimise workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, and site capacity.

Coordinate closely with production supervisors and team leaders to ensure effective schedule execution on the shop floor.

Monitor real-time production performance, adjusting plans quickly for machine breakdowns, labour constraints, or shifting priorities.

Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, and components by liaising with procurement and warehouse teams.

Maintain and update production orders and tracking data accurately within the ERP/MRP system.

Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve line balancing and capacity utilisation.

Participate in daily production meetings, collaborating with maintenance, supply chain, and logistics.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong practical understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and line balancing.

Hands-on approach with a proven ability to engage directly and build strong relationships with shop floor teams.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling tools, and strong Excel data analysis capabilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work across all levels of the business.

Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, logical decisions under pressure.

A strong continuous improvement mindset focused on reducing lead times and waste.

What We Offer

A key operational role within a global, market-leading organisation.

A collaborative, supportive, and safety-focused site culture.

Opportunities to drive tangible continuous improvement initiatives.
