D365 Finance & Operations – Senior Finance Analyst

The Opportunity

Coventry Group is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – D365 Finance & Operations to support the optimisation, implementation and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across our Australia and Current Zealand businesses.

Working across our Fluids and Trade Distribution divisions and corporate business units, you’ll play a key role in improving finance processes, delivering system enhancements and supporting our ongoing digital transformation.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Accounting and IT teams, acting as the functional subject matter expert for D365 Finance across six legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather business requirements, review processes and identify opportunities to improve D365 Finance functionality.
- Configure and optimise core finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
- Coordinate system testing, defect resolution, data migration and implementation activities.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, reporting and system enhancements.
- Deliver user training and provide go-live and ongoing application support.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes across multiple entities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and deliver practical system solutions.

About You





You’re an experienced finance systems professional with strong knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

You will bring:

- Extensive experience implementing, configuring and supporting D365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong functional knowledge of core finance modules.
- Experience with system testing, implementations and application support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience in a multi-entity business, particularly within supply chain, manufacturing or distribution, will be highly regarded. Relevant Microsoft certifications and a finance or IT qualification are desirable.
