The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct.

We have an exciting opportunity available to join our dynamic team at Novotel Brisbane Airport. Catalina Restaurant is vibrant and inviting restaurant with a warm atmosphere and quality food. Our focus and objective are to provide an excellent dining experience for all our guests.

About the role
n
Provide courteous, efficient and professional service to exceed guest expectations.
n
Perform tasks within a timely manner.
n
Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high-quality standards.
n
Maintain standards of all health and hygiene requirements.
n
Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.
n
About You
n
Excellence in customer service
n
A can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
n
Excellent grooming and presentation.
n
Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays (with a focus on dinner service)
n
Strong technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles
n
Understanding of workplace health and safety principles
n
Own transportation is required
n
Minimum 2–3 years of commercial kitchen experience
n
Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
n
