Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to provide Break & Fix support services across enterprise infrastructure environments. This freelance, on-call role requires a highly skilled professional who can diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, network, and infrastructure-related incidents efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess solid technical expertise in Nutanix and networking technologies, hold a valid CCNA certification, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with fluent English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

n

n

Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure-related incidents.

n

n

Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).

n

n

Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.

n

n

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues.

n

n

Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.

n

n

Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions.

n

n

Respond to critical incidents and service requests within agreed response times.

n

n

Collaborate with global and regional teams on infrastructure and cloud-related projects.

n

n





Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident reports, and service records.

n

n

Ensure professional interaction with end users, stakeholders, and customers at all times.

n

n

Required Skills & Experience

n

n

Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, or IT support engineering.

n

n

Strong hands-on experience with the Nutanix ecosystem (AOS, AHV, Prism).

n

n

Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.

n

n

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.

n

n

Proven experience providing Break & Fix support in enterprise environments.

n

n

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues.

n

n

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

n

n

Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python is advantageous.

n

n

Mandatory Requirements

CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

n

Fluent English & Local communication skills (spoken and written).
