nAbout The Role n
nOur client is a QLD government organisation based in the Brisbane CBD. They are currently seeking an AO4 Assistant Finance Officer (Finance & Helpdesk) to come in and work with them on a temp contract until 11/05/2027 with possible extensions. n
nRequirements for this role include: n
n
n
n
- Experience in a helpdesk workplace supporting end-users of finance and travel management systems.
n
n
- Experience working with SAP, and Expense Me Pro systems previously for payment management and reporting.
n
n
n
nKey responsibilities include: n
n
n
n
- Provide System & User Support: Deliver financial helpdesk guidance to frontline officers on best practices, core system functions, and access management for ExpenseMe Pro and SAP Finance systems.
n
n
- Resolve & Escalate System Issues: Troubleshoot day-to-day application issues for users and escalated complex problems to maintain consistent business system operations.
n
n
- Assist with Testing & Content Expertise: Offer subject matter expertise to support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure systems and services align with client and stakeholder requirements.
n
n
- Support business administration functions,
including revenue and expense management, ensuring strict adherence to departmental policies and standards.
n
n
- Prepare monthly financial reports and perform reconciling across corporate card, finance, and travel allowance systems to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
n
n
- Assist in creating financial training materials, updating web content, and delivering support activities that enhance the overall user experience.
n
n
- Develop Support & Training Resources: Assist in creating financial training materials, updating web content, and delivering support activities that enhance the overall user experience.

- Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the review, development, and implementation of enhanced financial systems, processes, and procedures.
