Digital Transformation | AI | Superannuation & Financial Services

n

IQ Group is looking for a Principal Consultant who can operate at the intersection of business analysis, delivery leadership, technology advisory and AI-enabled transformation .

n

This is an opportunity for a senior consulting professional who can step beyond traditional BA or delivery responsibilities — leading complex engagements, advising senior clients and identifying how digital, data and AI can solve real business problems across superannuation and financial services.

n

You’ll act as a Lead Business Analyst and/or Delivery Lead , bringing structure and direction to complex transformation initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, architects and vendors to turn ideas into outcomes.

What you'll do

n

Lead transformation and delivery

n

n
- Lead client consulting, advisory and digital transformation engagements across superannuation and financial services.
n
- Act as a Lead BA and/or Delivery Lead , providing direction across complex programs and initiatives.
n
- Lead discovery, workshops, requirements, process design, solution definition and delivery planning.
n
- Apply Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management and consulting capabilities to deliver measurable client outcomes.
n
- Work across the full transformation lifecycle — from strategy and discovery through to solution delivery and implementation.
n

Drive digital, data and AI-enabled transformation

n

n
- Work with clients to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for technology, data, digital and AI-enabled solutions.
n
- Help clients understand where AI and emerging technologies can create practical value across processes, decision-making, customer experiences and operational efficiency.
n
- Identify opportunities to modernise legacy processes, platforms and operating models.
n




- Translate emerging technology into practical, commercially viable solutions rather than technology for technology’s sake.
n

Lead complex financial services transformation

n

You’ll have the chance to work across initiatives such as:

n

n
- Claims and underwriting digital uplift , including digital platforms, APIs, AI solutions and complex insurance processes.
n
- Administration platform modernisation , including platforms such as Sonata and Superb.
n
- Member and employer communications transformation , identifying pain points and leading improvements end-to-end.
n
- Document management and communications platform transformation.
n
- Technology and process transformation across superannuation and broader financial services.
n

Build trusted client relationships

n

n
- Build trusted senior-level relationships and act as a strategic advisor to clients.
n
- Work confidently with executives and senior stakeholders while remaining comfortable getting into the detail with SMEs, technical teams and vendors.
n
- Facilitate challenging conversations, navigate competing priorities and bring clarity to complex problems.
n
- Develop trusted networks across the superannuation and financial services sector.
n

Grow the consulting business

n

n
- Support the development of client relationships and new consulting engagements.
n
- Contribute to IQ Group’s thought leadership, market presence and brand .
n
- Mentor and provide leadership to consultants and delivery teams.
n

What you'll bring

n





We’re looking for a senior consulting professional who combines delivery leadership, business analysis, technology advisory, AI capability and commercial acumen .

n

You’ll ideally have:

n

n
- Significant superannuation and/or financial services industry experience .
n
- Strong experience as a Lead BA, Delivery Lead, Principal Consultant or Senior Consultant on complex technology and transformation programs.
n
- Experience leading digital transformation across business processes, platforms and operating models.
n
- A broad understanding of technology trends, products and solutions across financial services.
n
- Practical understanding of AI, generative AI and emerging technologies , with the ability to identify and articulate meaningful use cases for clients.
n
- Experience with administration platforms and transformation, ideally including Sonata and
n
- Understanding of claims, underwriting, APIs, digital platforms, insurance processes and/or complex financial services products is highly regarded
n
- Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
