We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our Pre-Contracts & Tenders team. Working closely with the team to lead first-principles, technical cost modelling, and pricing strategies for major projects.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Develops, reviews, and implements documentation to support the HSEQ Plan.

n

Reports and investigates injuries, incidents, and near misses within the required timeframe.

n

Lead end-to-end project delivery across civil, water, wastewater and utility infrastructure

n

Implements corrective actions from audits, inspections, checklists, and investigations.

n

Reviews and provides recommendations for WMS and HSEQ Plans/Processes.

n

Completes routine project financial performance reviews.

n

Conducts analysis of Project Cost/Revenue, Cost to Complete, Variations, Progress and Contractual

n

Claims and other indicators.

n

Ensures systems required to capture the scope of work changes and variations are implemented.

n

Prepares and submits Progress Claims as prescribed.

n

Develops and routinely monitors the project program.

n

Reviews construction techniques compatibility with the Program and encountered conditions,



and routinely completes productivity checks (daily/weekly).

n

Sources applicable Killard plant and labour resources as required, managing constraints (where they arise) to ensure project timelines are met.

n

Procures materials and equipment as required by the Project.

n

Effectively utilises resources to ensure effective and effective use.

n

Selects, documents, engages and administers Subcontracts. Agrees and certifies progress payments, provides effective supervision and management, and ensures effective and documented subcontract closure.

n

What We're Looking For:

n

Minimum 5 years' experience in the water/wastewater infrastructure sector.

n

Experience in project delivery roles is highly desirable.

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

Excellent ability to translate practical project delivery to a cost estimate.

n

Mathematical and analytical skills.

n

Advanced Excel skills.

n

Sound experience and understanding of contract principles.

n

General knowledge of engineering and hydraulic principles, preferably in pipeline networks.

n

The ability to prioritise often conflicting activities and schedule own and other's time accordingly.

n
