1 Spring Street Hotel & Residences is an upcoming 50-room residence located at One Spring Street, Elizabeth Quay.

n

As we prepare to open, we are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Operations Manager to join our founding team and help create a polished, welcoming and memorable guest experience from day one.

About the Role n

You will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the 50‑room residence, including guest services, housekeeping and restaurant service. You will lead pre‑opening readiness, establish operational procedures and build a high‑performing, guest‑focused team.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Lead pre‑opening setup, operating procedures, service trials and team readiness.
n
- Oversee daily residence operations, including guest services, housekeeping and restaurant service.
n
- Recruit, train, coach and lead operational team members.
n
- Maintain high standards of guest service, presentation, cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.
n
- Manage guest feedback and service recovery professionally.
n
- Prepare and manage rosters, labour costs, stock control and operational expenses.
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, RSA and liquor licensing requirements.
n

The Successful Candidate Will Possess nn




- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Residence Manager, Hotel Manager or senior hospitality leader.
n
- Strong experience in accommodation, guest services, housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
n
- Pre‑opening experience is highly regarded.
n
- A hands‑on, visible and supportive leadership style.
n
- Strong people leadership, communication and organisational skills.
n
- Sound commercial understanding, including labour management and cost control.
n
- Current RSA certification; Approved Manager and food safety experience are advantageous.
n
