Immediate start for 1-2 week contract - Significant Newcastle Building Project

As a Hoist Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of a key construction site in Newcastle, NSW. Joining the team at DC Resourcing, you will be responsible for operating a hoist to facilitate the safe movement of materials, tools, and personnel. This is a casual role, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Operate hoists and lifting equipment safely and efficiently to move materials, tools, and personnel as required

Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on all assigned equipment

Monitor and adhere to all relevant safety regulations and site-specific protocols

Communicate effectively with site managers, workers, and other relevant stakeholders

Maintain detailed records of all lifts and equipment usage

Assist with the coordination of material and personnel movements to optimise site productivity

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Hoist Operator or in a similar construction-related role

Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of hoists and lifting equipment safely and efficiently





Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work in a safe and compliant manner

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Proficient in maintaining detailed records and documentation

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions

Current High Risk Work Licence and Construction Induction Card are required for this position
