About the Role n

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Contracts Officer to support our legal and commercial functions through effective contract management and administration.

n

Reporting to the Legal & Compliance function, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and coordinating a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are achieved and legal and commercial risks are appropriately managed.

Key Responsibilities n

- Draft, review and coordinate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer, supplier, service and confidentiality agreements.
n
- Provide practical legal and commercial support on contractual matters, ensuring contracts align with business objectives and company policies.
n
- Identify legal and commercial risks within contractual arrangements and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
n
- Coordinate the end-to-end contract approval process and ensure timely execution of agreements.
n
- Develop, maintain and improve standard contract templates and related documentation.
n




- Maintain contract registers and ensure accurate record management throughout the contract lifecycle.
n
- Monitor contractual obligations, key milestones and renewal dates.
n
- Support the implementation of internal policies, governance initiatives and compliance activities related to commercial contracts.
n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business functions to provide practical and commercially focused solutions.
n
- Assist with other commercial, legal and administrative projects as required.
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will be a bilingual professional with strong legal acumen, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will also bring:

- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written communication).
n
- Prior experience in compliance, or legal roles within logistics, warehousing, or transport related area is preferred.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or Commerce, with sound knowledge of corporations law, contract law, and competition law, etc
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
- A team-focused approach, with the ability to work independently when required.
n
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
n
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, policies, and data effectively.
n
- High standards of personal presentation and professional integrity.
n
- Right to work in Australia; satisfactory police/VEVO checks.
n
- Medical assessment for fitness to work (as applicable).
n
- Ongoing professional development to maintain competency.
