Job Description

We Are Seeking An Internal Sales Representative With Existing, Niche Experience In Industrial Insulation And Conductor Products. This Is a Highly Specialist Position Supporting a Narrow, Technical Product Portfolio Including

- Insulation laminates and sheets
- Mica products and flexible insulation papers
- Winding wire, copper conductors, and engineered electrical materials

This is not a general customer service or internal sales role. Only applicants with prior technical experience in these specific material categories will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical internal sales support for insulation and conductor product lines
- Interpret industrial product specifications, datasheets and insulation classes
- Prepare technical quotations and material costings with workshop/technical teams
- Manage customer enquiries specific to industrial electrical materials
- Support external sales staff with product documentation and technical clarification
- Maintain detailed CRM records for all insulation/conductor product enquiries




- Coordinate with internal departments on correct product selection and order fulfilment

About The Employer

Marathon Electric Australia (part of the WEG Group) supplies highly specialised electrical insulation materials, thermal insulation products, winding wire, and conductor materials used in motor rewinding, transformer manufacturing, and electromechanical service industries.

About The Candidate

- Direct prior experience with electrical insulation materials (e.g. switch panels, laminates, versatile insulation papers, thermal insulation)
- Hands-on product knowledge of winding wire and conductor materials
- Experience supporting industrial electrical, electromechanical, motor rewind, or transformer manufacturing customers
- Demonstrated ability to interpret insulation product specifications, material grades, or technical datasheets
- Prior internal sales or technical support experience in a highly specialised industrial materials environment, You are capable of handling highly technical material enquiries, confident interpreting product specification documents, and familiar with the unique requirements of insulation and conductor materials in industrial electrical applications.
