Job Description

This is a hands-on position involving manufacturing, order picking, stock control, assembly and customer service at a local manufacturing company specialising in quality metal garden edging, planter boxes and custom metal products.

Key responsibilities n

- Picking and preparing customer orders
n
- Picking parts and materials for manufacturing
n
- Stock inventory control and maintaining accurate stock levels
n
- Manufacturing and assembling metal products
n
- Operating sheet metal equipment (training provided)
n
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
n
- Packing and preparing completed products
n
- Assisting with general factory and production duties
n
- Providing friendly customer service when required
n
- Keeping the factory clean, organised and safe
n

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

- Hands-on and practical

- Able to follow instructions and work independently
n
- Organised with positive attention to detail
n
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
n
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
n
- Willing to learn new skills and manufacturing processes
n
- Available to work Saturday mornings when required
n
- Casual position with approximately 40 hours per week
n
- Monday-Friday plus Saturday morning work
n
- Ongoing work for the right person
