We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our GSE team here at Brisbane Airport. We are looking for someone eager to do something different everyday within a small team.
About you n
n
- Trade qualified Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Plant Mechanic or similar
n
- Experienced in diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service in the field.
n
- Demonstrated skills in understanding customer support requirements.
n
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
n
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours
n
- Conduct all duties adhering to relevant safety and environmental policies ensuring a safe work place
n
- Self motivated and can think out side of the box
n
- Must be willing to learn and work with equipment they may not have previous knowledge with
n
- Current drivers licence (Required)
n
- A good understanding of basic DC electrical circuits
n
- Must be a clean worker and maintain a clean work area
n
- Must be able to adapt to different jobs and situations
n
- Tig and Mig welding skills are preferred although not required
n

Job Type: Casual with full time opportunity n
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Schedule n
n
- 8 hour shifts - minimum 25 hours per week regular over time
n
- Monday to Friday

- On call

- Automotive/GSE plant Experience

Licence/Certification n

- Trade Certificate (Required)
n
- Must be able to obtain an ASIC and ADA

- Drivers license (Required)
