Real Dairy Australia is a 100% Australian-owned and operated business and one of the largest independently owned cheese processors in the country, producing and packaging a broad range of cheeses for the retail, foodservice, QSR and industrial markets. Their Greenacre site is home to head office and their primary processing operation.

About the role Reporting to the GM – Quality, the Site Quality Assurance Manager owns the implementation, maintenance and management of the Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems for the Greenacre site.

n

You’ll lead and develop the site quality team, keep the site audit-ready, and drive a solid, continuous-improvement-focused food safety culture across the operation.

What you’ll do n

n
- Manage the site's Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems, including HACCP prerequisite programs
n
- Monitor CCPs and QCPs, conduct GMP walks, and manage record-keeping, retention samples and calibration
n
- Lead complaint, incident and non-conformance investigations,



and own the NCR & audit CAPA program with timely reporting to customers and regulators
n
- Represent the site in GFSI, customer and regulatory audits
n
- Mentor, direct, train and manage the performance of the QA/QC team, including recruitment
n
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual Quality Management Review reporting
n
- Ensure all export orders are compliant, and support the GM – Quality with QMS and regulatory affairs
n

What you’ll bring nn
- A diploma or degree in Food Science or a related field
n
- Minimum 3 years' QAM experience within food manufacturing
n
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, GMP and documentation/record-keeping
n
- Working knowledge of WHS policies and procedures
n
- Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to lead and build trust across a large team
n
