Quality Control and Fabric Cutting Team Member - Curtain Workroom n

We are looking for a Quality Control & Fabric Cutting Team Member to join our friendly and experienced Workroom team in our modern, air-conditioned workroom in Enoggera .

n

We specialise in high-quality, custom-made curtains and window furnishings and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a hands-on production environment.

n

This position will work across quality control and fabric cutting with responsibilities tailored to the successful candidate's skills and experience.

About the Role n

Your responsibilities may include:

Fabric Cutting n

Cutting fabrics accurately to measurements and production sheets

n

Manually measuring, marking and hand-cutting fabrics where required

n

Carefully cutting delicate and specialty fabrics

n

Working with pattern repeats and matching requirements

n

Identifying fabric faults or inconsistencies before production

n

Ensuring accuracy and minimising fabric wastage

Quality Control & Finishing n

Inspecting completed curtains to identify faults, defects, or inconsistencies

n

Checking finished products against job specifications and measurements

n





Completing finishing tasks such as inserting hooks and preparing curtains for installation

n

Folding, packaging, and preparing completed products for dispatch

n

Working closely with our Workroom team to maintain consistently high standards

About You n

We are looking for someone who:

n

Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality

n

Is reliable, organised and able to work efficiently

n

Able to work efficiently in a production environment

n

A positive team player who takes pride in their work

n

Experience in curtains, textiles, manufacturing, or quality control is highly regarded, but training will be provided for the right person.
