We're currently looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales Representative to join a well-established business in the building and steel industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in hardware, trade retail, tools or customer service who is ready to step away from the shop floor and build a career in B2B and road-based sales.
n
You'll work across a combination of branch-based and customer-facing activity, with the majority of your time spent building relationships and meeting customers on the road.
About the Role n
As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and providing excellent service to a range of commercial clients.
n
Your day will involve:
n
n
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
n
- Visiting customers and potential clients across Sydney
n
- Identifying sales opportunities and growing existing accounts
n
- Providing excellent customer service and product advice
n
- Developing knowledge of the company's product range
n
- Working collaboratively with internal teams
n
- Managing your day independently while remaining focused on sales and customer outcomes
n
n
The role is Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour working day and a typical start time of 7:30am or 8:00am .
What We're Looking For n
You don't necessarily need previous road-sales experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, personality and customer-facing experience who is ready to take the next step.

- Retail Supervisor

- Trade Counter Salesperson
n
- Hardware or Trade Retail Salesperson
n
- Tools or Trade Salesperson
n
n
Experience within hardware, tools, trade retail or similar customer-facing environments will be highly regarded.
n
Most importantly, you'll be:

- Confident and personable when dealing with customers
n
- A strong relationship builder
n
- Sales and customer-service focused
n
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
n
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in sales
n
- Willing to learn current products and industry knowledge
n
- Comfortable travelling between customer locations
n
- Looking for genuine career progression into B2B sales
n
