We are looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our workshop at Unit 1, 14 Timms Court, Woodridge. You will diagnose, service and repair customer vehicles and work with limited supervision.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and road tests
n
- Carry out scheduled logbook services, including oil, filter and fluid changes
n
- Dismantle, repair and reassemble engines, transmissions, clutches and differentials
n
- Repair and replace brake, steering, suspension, cooling and exhaust systems
n
- Repair or replace worn and faulty parts, and test and adjust them after fitting
n
- Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and report on the work required
n
- Explain faults and repair options to customers and prepare job cards and parts lists
n




- Keep service records up to date and the workshop clean and safe
n

About you nn
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or an equivalent trade qualification
n
- At least 2 years of experience as a motor mechanic in a workshop
n
- Sound fault-finding skills on a range of vehicle makes and models
n
- Positive spoken and written English for dealing with customers and records
n
- Your own basic hand tools
