We are looking for an experienced, proactive and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team and take ownership of maintenance operations across our manufacturing facility.

About the Role n

Reporting to senior Management, you will be responsible for ensuring our production equipment, facilities and critical infrastructure remain safe, reliable and operational.

n

This is a diverse role requiring a balance of hands-on technical knowledge, preventative maintenance planning, contractor management and continuous improvement.

n

We are seeking someone who takes ownership, identifies issues before they become problems and follows maintenance requirements through to completion.

n

Hours of Work:

n

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, with flexibility required to accommodate trades, scheduled maintenance and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Oversee preventative, scheduled and corrective maintenance across the facility.
n
- Maintain production machinery, packaging equipment, cook tanks and associated systems.
n
- Manage the maintenance and reliability of refrigeration systems, cool rooms, freezers and critical plant room infrastructure.
n
- Coordinate building, facility and company vehicle maintenance.
n
- Respond to breakdowns, investigate recurring faults and implement long-term solutions.
n




- Engage and manage external contractors, specialist trades and equipment suppliers.
n
- Maintain equipment registers, servicing schedules, maintenance records and reporting.
n
- Ensure maintenance activities meet workplace safety, food safety and compliance requirements.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and support equipment upgrades.
n

About You n

We are looking for a practical, organised and solutions-focused individual who can confidently manage maintenance requirements in a busy manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

n

- Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
n
- Experience with industrial machinery, production equipment and preventative maintenance programs.
n
- Ability to coordinate contractors, prioritise competing demands and manage maintenance projects.
n
- Sound understanding of workplace safety and equipment maintenance requirements.
n
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
n
- A proactive approach with a high level of accountability and ownership.
n

Highly Regarded: nn
- Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical or engineering disciplines.
n
- Knowledge of refrigeration, industrial cooking or packaging equipment.
n
