Job Description

An experienced Intermediate Tax Accountant position based in Alexandria, Sydney. The role involves attending to clients, taking instructions, and managing a variety of tax and accounting matters within a small to medium-sized business setting.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Attending to clients and taking instructions
n
- Assisting other staff in all types of matters
n
- Processing individual, partnership, companies and trust funds tax returns
n
- Completing BAS's and company financials
n
- Using Xero, MYOB, MS Office and other bookkeeping software
n
- Bank reconciliations
n
- Maintaining excellent understanding of ATO standards and requirements
n

About you nn
- Relevant qualifications within Business, Commerce, Accounting and Tax
n




- 2+ years Tax Accounting experience
n
- Must have experience completing Tax returns
n
- Must have a reasonable understanding of ATO practices
n
- Exposure to Xero software, MYOB and Sage HandiSoft
n
- Satisfactory understanding of processing BAS's and company financials
n
- Intermediate Excel Skills
n
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
n
- Highly organised and a quick learner
n
- Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
n
