Randstad Sourceright is proud to be partnering with and working alongside a leading FMCG company headquartered in Docklands, Melbourne. This company has multiple manufacturing sites across Australia alongside many well known household brands/products.

Reporting to the Collections Manager, this is a hands-on finance role responsible for processing customer pricing and logistics claims, maintaining internal controls, and delivering customer and stakeholder support across the claims cycle.

Role: Claims Officer

Location: Docklands - hybrid (2 days in the office)

n

Job Type: Contract - 6 Months (potential to extend)

n

Start Date: ASAP

n

Rate: $40 per hour + super (depending on experience)

n

Responsibilities:

n

Claims Management & Data Entry: Accurately enter high volumes of claims into the database alongside investigation, ensuring strict alignment with internal controls.

n

Financial Processing & Reporting: Creating credit notes and invoices, whilst actioning sundry debit and credit requests. Collate data and generate ad-hoc financial and claims reports.

n

Claims Inbox Management: Timely response of claims enquiries.

n

Stakeholder Management:



Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, delivering guidance, support, and continuous communication throughout the full claims lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Actively evaluate current claims workflows to recommend and participate in process improvement/process gap initiatives.

n

Experience:

n

Finance & Accounting: Background in accounting support roles, such as Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, with a solid understanding of financial processes.

n

Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience navigating and operating ERP systems - SAP experience is preferred.

n

Data Entry: Ability to accurately process and review volumes of data.

n

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Interpersonal and written communication skills to manage complex emails from customers alongside internal stakeholder liaison.
