The Opportunity n

As a Solicitor or Associate in our Abuse Law practice, you'll join our Sydney or Parramatta team on a permanent, full-time basis and be on the frontline as we seek justice for our clients across a variety of abuse law matters.

You’ll have the opportunity to be mentored by experts in the field and work for leaders who are passionate about both supporting our clients and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

You’ll join a close-knit team of experienced Solicitors with dedicated one-on-one paralegal support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise and take the next step in their legal career.

- Provide clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensation
n
- Work across a variety of client matters that requirea high levelof sensitivity
n
- Provide legal advice to each client's particular matter to suit their level of understanding
n
- Develop andmaintainstrong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations
n
- Draft legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detail
n
- Manage and run a file load witha high levelof commercial and fiscal awareness
n
- Take an active role in working with and mentoring junior members of the team
n

Whatyou’llbring. To thrive in this role,you’llhave:

- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
n
- Post-admission experience in abuse law
n
- A robust understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
n
- Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
n
- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing trauma
n
- A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to getgreat results
n
- An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
n
- A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
