We are currently seeking Electrical Designers to join our agile project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major EPCM project.
Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills:n
n
- Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
n
- 8-12 years of WA iron ore or similar industry experience in High Voltage HV and LV systems up to 33kV
n
- Experience to review vendor technical documents and drawings
n
- Experience with power system studies including load flow,
short circuit and harmonics
n
- Familiarity Australian and international Standards & codes studies including developing MTOs/Lists
n
- Familliar with cable sizing and schedule
n
- Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, client and other stakeholders.
n
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
n
- Experience in software design tools such as Smart Plant, DIgSILENT Power Factory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, CDEGS etc. is desirable.
