About the Role n
We're seeking reliable, hard-working Builder's Labourers to join our team on a project in Urangan, Hervey Bay. You'll support our tradespeople and site supervisor with a variety of general construction tasks and help keep the site safe, tidy and productive. It's a great opportunity for someone wanting steady work over the next 2–3 months with a friendly team.
Key Duties n
n
- Assist carpenters and steel framers with timber and metal framing (carrying, cutting, measuring, positioning and fixing materials)
n
- Carry out concrete patching and repairs, including surface prep, mixing and applying patching compounds
n
- Perform site clean-ups as required, including removing rubbish, sorting materials and keeping access ways clear
n
- Load, unload and move materials and tools around the site
n
- Assist with general site preparation and set-up
n
- Help with other general labouring tasks as directed by the supervisor
n
- Follow all site safety procedures and use PPE at all times
n
About You n
Essential:
n
n
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction), Queensland-recognised
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour outdoors
n
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
n
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
n
- Reliable transport to and from site
n
Desirable (not essential): nn
- Previous experience as a builder's labourer or in construction
n
- Experience with timber or steel framing
n
- Basic knowledge of concrete repair work
n
- Own basic hand tools
n
- Current driver's lisence
n

- Hours: Monday to Friday, standard site hours (e.g. 6:30am–3:00pm)
