Living Waters Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary HASS Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team.

About the Role n

The successful applicant will:

n

n
- Teach Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) across Years 7-10.
n
- Deliver senior secondary Humanities subjects, including ATAR and General courses as allocated.
n
- Develop engaging and differentiated learning experiences that promote critical thinking, inquiry and informed citizenship.
n
- Prepare, assess and report on student learning in accordance with SCSA and College requirements.
n
- Utilise student achievement data to support continuous improvement and academic success.
n
- Contribute positively to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
n
- Participate in curriculum development, moderation and qualified learning activities.
n
- Support the Christian ethos,



values and mission of the College.
n

About You n

The successful candidate will possess:

Essential n

n
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification with a Humanities-related specialisation.
n
- Current Teacher Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.
n
- Current Working With Children Check.
n
- Demonstrated ability to teach Secondary HASS.
n
- Experience or capacity to teach senior secondary Humanities subjects.
n
- Knowledge of SCSA curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.
n
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
n
- A commitment to student wellbeing, child safety and educational excellence.
n

Desirable nn
- Experience teaching WACE Humanities courses.
n
- Experience preparing students for examinations.
n
- A Christian faith
n
