We are looking for a motivated individual with proven project and bid management experience who is looking to grow their commercial and bid-management skills to support our exciting work in AUKUS Pilar 1 & Pilar 2 technologies.

n

Based in Macquarie Park, the Project Manager – Commercial Support (PM-CS) is responsible for supporting Sales and Programs functions in the development of high-quality, compliant and compelling commercial bids and proposals for both Australian and international customers. Working closely with sales, technical and operations teams, the PM-CS supports the entire bid lifecycle, from pre-tender prospect qualification and solution development through to contract award and handover to project execution.

Responsibilities include: n

- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial bids to customers.
n
- Generate pricing, schedules and Letters of Offer for commercial responses.
n
- Ensure all submissions are compliant with customer requirements, company governance, are achievable and profitable.
n
- Coordinate content from subject matter experts and edit submissions for consistency, clarity and compliance.
n
- Manage bid pipelines and contribute to business development planning.
n




- Ensure contractual requirements are understood before submission.
n
- Coordinate stakeholder activities until hand over to project delivery team.
n
- Maintain proposal templates, tools, response libraries and post-bid documentation.
n
- Manage the development of tender packages for subcontractors.
n

Required experience and qualifications include: nn
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
n
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
n
- Experience in selecting and managing sub-contractors.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
n
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
n
- Experience with Defence RFIs, RFTs, EOIs and procurement panels, particularly ASDEFCON.
n
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance of NV1 is essential. Must be an Australian citizen.
n
- Defence industry or ADF experience will be highly regarded.
n
