Job Description

I'm looking for a Sales Estimator to join a custom residential builder based in South West Sydney.
n This is a good opportunity for someone with around 2 years’ estimating experience who has a solid understanding of residential construction and wants to broaden their experience rather than being stuck doing the same type of estimating process day in, day out.
n The business is open to candidates from project homebuilders or medium sized builders, but you’ll need to have a valuable understanding of the wider estimating process, and keen to progress in a career within the custom homes space.

The role n

n
- Prepare sales estimates and quotes for new homes
n
- Review drawings, specifications and site information
n
- Price materials, labour, RSLs and variations
n
- Review foundations and identify additional construction costs
n




- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
n
- Work closely with sales, drafting and construction teams
n
- Manage multiple estimates and ensure pricing is accurate and up to date
n

What they’re looking for nn
- Around 2 years’ residential estimating experience
n
- Experience with RSLs, variations and general residential estimating
n
- Good understanding of foundations and residential construction
n
- Someone who understands more than just one estimating process
n
- Project homebuilder or medium-sized builder experience would suit
n
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs
n
