Australian Caravan Centre are currently recruiting, and excitingfull-time opportunities exist for General Hands' to join our team at ourdealershiplocated in Craigieburn.

As a General Hand, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our caravans are not only road-ready but also in impeccable condition for our customers. Your attention to detail will be paramount as you contribute to a range of essential tasks that keep our caravans in top shape.

Full time position
n Monday – Friday
n 8am – 4pm
n Craigieburn location

n

Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications

Your key responsibilities will be: n

n
- Conducting thorough inspections on new and second-hand caravans, checking the function and condition of all fittings and appliances
n
- Fitting a large range of accessories
n
- Diagnose problems and carry out repairs or maintenance work
n
- Ensuring that the handover schedule is on time for the ultimate customer experience on the delivery of their new caravan.
n
- Bearing and brakeservicing of new and second-hand caravans and campers
n
- Warranty and repair work (cladding and plywood repairs)
n




- Diagnose and resolve warranty concerns on existing caravans
n
- Ensuring all new and used caravans are immaculately detailed ready for delivery, displayand industry shows.
n
- Daily general maintenance around the dealership (rubbish collection, gardening, weeding, painting, picking up wheel chocks, picking up loose leads etc).
n
- Movement of stock around the dealership.
n
- Maintain a neat and tidy workspace
n
- Assist in upskilling future junior techs
n
- Assist with the day-to-day duties in the workshop
n

About you: Qualifications: n

Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair or relevant experience in caravan servicing and repairs

Technical Skills: n

Sound knowledge of 12V and 240V systems is a plus

Problem Solving: n

Experience in fault diagnosis is highly regarded

Hands-On Skills: n

Competency with power tools and a forklift license (preferred but not essential)

Personal Attributes: n

Solid time management, a neat and tidy work ethic, and a self-motivated attitude

Team Spirit: n

The ability to collaborate effectively with others

n

The successful candidate must provide a current police check.

n
