Aligned Search is partnering with a well-established organisation looking for an experienced Payroll Lead to join their team in Liverpool. This is a hands-on payroll role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also leading a small offshore payroll team.

- Lead and participate in end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
n
n
- Manage and support a team of two Senior Payroll Officers based offshore
n
n
- Review and validate payroll outputs, reconciliations and payroll variances
n
n
- Act as the escalation point for complex payroll queries
n
n
- Work closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders
n
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation requirements
n
n
- Support process improvements, SOPs,



automation and system enhancements
n
n
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits and broader payroll initiatives
n
n

n
nAbout you: n
n

n
n
- Experience with Chris21 / iChris is essential
n
n
- 3-5+ years' Australian payroll experience within a multi-site environment
n
n
- Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience
n
n
- Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and superannuation
n
n
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring or leading payroll staff
n
n
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
n
n
- Confident stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
n
n
