Disability Support Worker / Enrolled Nurse (Pediatric Complex Care)

Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns

Pay Rate: $41-45/hour

The Role: Disability Support Worker / Enrolled Nurse

n

n
- Deliver comprehensive clinical support, including airway management via tracheostomy and invasive ventilation.
n
- Perform tracheostomy suctioning in accordance with clinical care plans and prescribed procedures.
n
- Administer enteral feeding via a PEG tube and monitor for tolerance and wellbeing.
n
- Provide personal care and activities of daily living.
n
- Facilitate and support communication, play, social interaction, and meaningful engagement with a young child.
n




- Assist with safe manual handling, positioning, repositioning, and transfers in line with manual handling protocols.
n
- Administer medications in accordance with prescribed treatment plans and organisational policies.
n
- Provide basic household assistance to maintain a secure, clean, and supportive care environment.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher) or Enrolled Nurse qualification
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or complex care
n
- Current manual handling and medication administration certification
n
- Current First Aid and CPR
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
n
- Right to work in Australia
n
- Driver Licence and Comprehensive Insurance
n
