Ozcare has a permanent part-time position available for a Cook / Client Services Assistant supporting our clients at our beautiful Malanda Aged Care Facility.

nYour Role n
n

As a Client Services Assistant - you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.

n
nCooking & Client Services Duties n
n

n
n
- Prepare and cook daily meals and snacks, including ingredient preparation, operating kitchen equipment, serving food, delivering meals to clients, and collecting used dishes.
n
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining setting by washing dishes, restocking supplies, cleaning surfaces and floors, managing rubbish, and handling food trolleys.
n
n
- Support overall kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, organising menus, managing food and equipment orders, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
n
n
- Uphold food safety standards by recording temperatures, completing required documentation, and following safe food handling procedures.

nRole Requirements n

- Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
n
n
- Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the last 3 years)
n
n
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (where applicable)
n
n
- Demonstrated previous cooking experience for large groups would be an advantage
n
n
- Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable
n
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
n
n
