Grounds Maintenance Team Leader – Sydney n

ARC Staff is recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Sydney for one of our major clients. You’ll lead a mobile crew across commercial and open-space contracts.

Location: Inner West Sydney
n Pay: $33.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience
n Company vehicle provided for the right candidate
n Company phone provided for the right candidate

About the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader Role n

This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll lead from the front while supervising a small mobile grounds maintenance crew.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading and supervising a mobile crew
n
- Planning daily works and allocating tasks
n
- Making sure sites meet required contract standards
n
- Operating zero-turn and out-front mowers
n
- Pruning, hedging, mulching and planting
n
- Weed spraying and pest control
n
- Maintaining equipment
n
- Making sure safe work practices are followed
n
- Keeping presentation standards consistently high across sites
n




- Supporting and developing team members
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- Certificate III in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens OR approximately 5 years’ relevant experience
n
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
n
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
n
- White Card
n
- Current Police Check, or willing to obtain one (essential)
n
- Working With Children Check highly regarded
n
- Experience operating grounds maintenance machinery
n
- Solid safety focus
n
- Reliable, with excellent communication skills
n
- Pride in your workmanship
n
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
n
