nSalary range: $79,500 - $85,000 per year, depending on skill level + Superannuation. Overtime and Penalty Rates are also available. n

nOur client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Nursing Support Worker to join our aged care team. In this hands-on role, you'll provide essential clinical and personal care support to residents while working closely with nursing and therapy teams to ensure the highest standards of care. n
n
nKey Duties & Responsibilities: n
n
nClinical & Care Support: n
n• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance while promoting independence n
n• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output as directed n
n• Support medication management by reminding residents and assisting with medication administration under nurse supervision n
n• Assist with basic wound care, applying dressings, and reporting any changes to nursing staff n
n
nTherapy & Rehabilitation Assistance: n
n• Implement prescribed therapy plans including gentle exercises and mobility support n
n• Assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists during treatment sessions n
n• Support dementia care by implementing behaviour management strategies n
n
nDocumentation & Reporting: n
n• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of care provided n
n• Document changes in resident conditions, behaviours, or care needs n
n• Complete incident reports and risk assessments when required n
n
nResident Wellbeing & Engagement: n




n• Provide emotional support through active listening and meaningful conversation n
n• Encourage resident participation in social activities and community programs n
n• Advocate for resident rights and preferences in all care decisions n
n
nSafety & Compliance: n
n• Follow infection control protocols including proper hand hygiene and PPE use n
n• Assist with manual handling using correct equipment and techniques n
n• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or near misses promptly n
n
nWhat They’re Looking For: n
n• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent n
n• 1+ years of full time experience in aged care or disability support n
n• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (issued within last 5 years) is preferable n
n• Current flu vaccination & COVID-19 immunization n
n• Reliable transport n
n• Compassionate nature with strong communication skills n
