FC Lawyers is seeking a motivated and ambitious Early Career Lawyer to join our Commercial Litigation team.

n

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with approximately 1-3 years PAE to develop their litigation practice while working closely with experienced practitioners. You will form part of a small and highly engaged Commercial Litigation team while also working alongside our broader Business and Corporate team.

n

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of matters, develop direct client relationships, and play an active role in delivering practical legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities n

You will work across a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:

n

- Debt recovery matters
n
- Employment-related disputes
n
- Insolvency and recovery matters
n
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and negotiations
n

n

The role will also involve:

n

n
- Advising clients on complex business and commercial matters
n
- Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, submissions and other court documents
n
- Drafting commercial contracts, settlement deeds and employment documents.
n
- Conducting legal research and preparing advice
n
- Managing matters under the supervision of senior practitioners
n
- Attending court appearances, mediations and client meetings
n




- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
n
- Assisting with business development and networking initiatives
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia
n
- Approximately 1-3 years PAE (preferred)
n
- Experience in litigation or dispute resolution matters
n
- Solid drafting, research and analytical skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A commercial and practical approach to problem-solving
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- A desire to develop a long-term career in commercial litigation
n
