Hazik Coatings are currently looking for an 1st or 2nd year apprentice painter to join the team.

If you have an eye for detail and like a job that offers visual satisfaction.

Working with qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

n

The successful candidate must be will to travel as we work all over Melbourne & Geelong area, be trustworthy and reliable, have genuine desire to have a career in the painting industry

Duties will involve:

n

- Carry out measurements and calculations.
n
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
n
- Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
n
- Handle painting and decorating materials.
n
- Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
n




- Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
n
- Prepare surfaces for painting.
n
- Apply paint by brush and roller.
n
- Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
n

- Be trustworthy

Preferred but not essential:

n

Driver's licence and vehicle.

n

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
